Our Staff

Dr. Katherine Chou

Dr. Chou is a San Francisco transplant from Southern California. She fell in love with the Bay Area while attending UC Berkeley, then spent the next few years in cheerful exile while earning her podiatric medical degree in windy Chicago. Acceptance into the prestigious Kaiser North Bay Consortium residency program paved the way for her return in 2008.

Upon her graduation as Chief Resident three years later, Dr. Chou was faced with the dilemma of choosing a safe, reliable job working for someone else or bravely striking out on her own to create the practice of her dreams. After careful consideration, she chose to follow her dreams and has never looked back.

Dr. Chou is a multi-sport athlete and has run several marathons and was the sole female to complete an Ironman distance race on a day with rain, sleet, and hail. She is currently overcoming her fear of heights by learning to climb. A big part of why she loves living in San Francisco is because she can enjoy all the things she loves best: good weather, beautiful ocean views, open parkland, fantastic restaurants, and amazing people.

Jessica Cortes-Romero

As the office manager, Jessica oversees the daily operations and ensures that your experience at the office is a positive one. She first began working with Dr. Chou as the receptionist. Over time, she learned the ins and outs of what makes the practice run smoothly.

Jessica graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in kinesiology and is happy to be near home as a Bay Area native. As she figures out her next steps for her post-baccalaureate education, she continues to be involved in the healthcare field as much as she can. In her free time, she loves to go dancing with friends, explore parks in the Bay Area, and take photos of her pets, Cilantro and Pinguino.

Celia Gonzalez

Celia was born and raised in San Francisco and has been a Mission-Bernal Native her whole life. After graduating as a Medical Assistant in 2002 she has enjoyed working and learning in the healthcare field. In her free time, she loves traveling with her daughter and visiting dog parks with their dog Miso.

Emily Starelli

Emily Starelli grew up in the peninsula, in San Mateo with her family. She enjoys being with family and friends, the great outdoors, her 3 dogs (Bailey, Whiskey, and Wilson), and is a big SF Giants and Niners fan!

Odalys Morfin

Odalys is a Bay Area native and a lover of all things pink and glittery. She is a “Professional Bruncher” who loves trying new restaurants. She also has a passion for adventure and discovering new things.
